Katie has a relaxed confidence that I found so reassuring. She is a consummate professional and she made the entire process a pleasure.
My mom and I went to Katie’s studio a couple of months before the wedding for a trial run of makeup and hair options. She listened to what we wanted, looked at the photos I brought and made great suggestions. I left the appointment confident that we’d be in good hands on my wedding day.
The morning of the wedding, Katie came to our hotel to do our makeup and hair. She easily rolled with the punches regarding some last minute changes. Both my mom’s and my makeup looked natural, photographed beautifully and stayed put all day and all evening long. I can’t put into words how thrilled I was with how my hair turned out. Katie didn’t even flinch when she saw my thick head of hair. After listening (to admittedly vague) descriptions of what I thought I wanted, she was able to create a look I loved that was both flattering and bombproof.
Katie was integral to making me look and feel completely beautiful on my wedding day. I can’t recommend her enough.
